Charges dropped against ex-Newry City manager
Charges brought against a former Irish League football manager have been dismissed.
Roy McCreadie, 47, who appeared at Armagh Court earlier today, was accused of assaulting a police officer, resisting a constable, and failing to take an alcohol breath test.
The charges are understood to relate to an alleged incident on December 17, 2004, in Caledon, Tyrone.
All charges against the former Newry city boss were dropped.
Mr McCreadie had always maintained that he was not guilty.

Willie Frazer Arrested For Bail Breach
Prominent loyalist campaigner Willie Frazer has been arrested for breaching his bail conditions. The 52-year-old was arrested on Monday at about 19:30 in the Portadown area. He is expected to appear in court today. Bail conditions were imposed following charges linked to union flag protests earlier in the year.
