Teenager dies following County Down RTA

A 16-year-old boy has died following a road traffic incident in County Down.

Police have said that they understand that the teenager was cycling along the by-pass at Groomsport last night, when he fell off his bicycle onto the road.

Detectives do not believe that any other vehicle was involved in the incident and have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed what happened, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Woman dies in County Tyrone collision
A woman has died following a road traffic collision in County Tyrone earlier today. The incident happened just outside the village of Clady at around 10am this morning and is understood to have involved a car and a lorry.
