Toddler injured in Co Armagh shooting
A toddler has been injured in a shooting incident at a house in Co Armagh this morning.
The two-and-a-half-year-old girl was asleep in an upstairs room of the St John's Court house, off the Garvaghy Road in Portadown, at around 3.30am when a gunman entered the premises. A number of shots were then fired into the ceiling of a downstairs room.
Police have said that the child was hit by at least one bullet and was injured in the groin. At this stage the attack is not thought to be sectarian.
