Forensic Experts Probe Belfast Skull Find
Workmen at a site in Belfast have uncovered what is thought to be a human skull.
The discovery of the buried skull was made as work started on a children's playground at Britton's Parade close to Belfast City Cemetery.
It is reported that the site has been used for various purposes. At one point it was part of McCrory Park GAA ground, then the British army used it as a fortified outpost in West Belfast.
Forensic experts are examining the skull, and it is believed it may have been at the site for a number of years.
