Arrest Made In Antrim Murder Probe

A man has been arrested in connection with a killing last summer.

Martin Joseph Morgan, (41) was shot dead in his home in Firmount Drive in Antrim's Greystone estate last July.

A 35-year-old is now being questioned by police in connection with the violent death.

Three other men questioned about the murder were subsequently released without charge.

Mr Morgan was released from prison five weeks before he was killed after serving a sentence for drugs-related offences.

Detectives believe his killer, or killers, fled down an alleyway towards the nearby Ballycraigy estate.

They said the victim had been seen in a bar in the town the evening before his murder on Friday 6 July.
