Two women injured in east Belfast rioting
Two women have been taken to hospital following the latest spate of street violence in east Belfast.
The women received injuries when an acid bomb was allegedly thrown from the nationalist Clandeboye Drive area into the loyalist Cluan Place on the Albertbridge Road.
Shortly afterwards, a pipe bomb was thrown over the peace wall from Cluan Place, landing in the garden of a Catholic home. No injuries were reported.
Stone and fireworks were also thrown from both sides of the interface during the rioting which started at around 10pm last night.

Women across Northern Ireland are being encouraged to participate in a new survey designed to gather insights into their health needs and experiences. The Women's Health Survey for Northern Ireland, part-funded by the Department of Health, is the first step in a broader public listening exercise aimed at improving women's healthcare services.

Petrol Bomb Thrown At Community Centre In L'Derry
A petrol bomb has been thrown at a community centre in Co L'Derry. The device was thrown at the Dove House building at around 11.30pm on Thursday, 18 August. Scorch damage was caused to the front of the building. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Suspicious Object Sparks Security Alert In Co Tyrone
A suspicious item thrown into a car has sparked a security alert in Co Tyrone. The object in the vehicle was reported at Innisfree Gardens in Strabane approximately 8.15am on Wednesday. A number of homes have been evacuated while army bomb disposal experts attend the scene.
