Court Date In 'Dog Walker Stabbing' Case
A man has been charged with attacking two men standing outside a bar in west Belfast earlier this month.
The attack took place on the Springfield Road where the pair were injured by a man apparently out walking a dog at about 11.50pm Thursday, 12 June.
Now, a 33-year-old has been charged with attempted murder over the attack last week.
At the time, police said that the dog walker allegedly attacked the men using a knife, causing hand injuries to them.
The two victims were standing outside the premises when they were approached by a man walking his dog. He produced a knife and attacked them. Both men sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.
The accused is to appear before Laganside Magistrates Court later on Thursday.

Hero Army Dog Handlers Honoured
Murdered soldiers who worked with specialist 'sniffer' dogs during the Northern Ireland Troubles have been remembered. The 'Red Paw' and its work across Northern Ireland was the subject of a special memorial service held in England at the weekend. It was in honour of the six dog handlers and two sniffer dogs killed in Northern Ireland.
