Chartered Engineers presentation takes place in Maiden City
A 'Get Chartered' presentation has taken place at DuPont, Maydown Works, Londonderry, for all budding Chartered Engineers.
The presentation, by Sandra Mulligan from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), explained to delegates how to become a Chartered engineer - the highest professional qualification for an engineer.
The presentation, which lasted just over an hour, covered a range of topics including:

HMRC Announce 120 Graduate Jobs
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has said it is to recruit at least 120 graduates for trainee positions. The graduates will join a specially designed four-year Tax Professional Development Programme and will gain skills across all of the organisation's activities.

Lifelong Skills Gets NI Boost
In the midst of one of the worst recessions this century, there is to be a renewed focus on 'transferable skills'. As hundreds lose their jobs across NI, re-training is already an important facet of reintegrating redundant workers, with the new initiative by Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) Northern Ireland being welcomed this week.
