Weber Shandwick creates specialist property division

Leading communications company, Weber Shandwick has created a new division to help property companies add more value to their portfolios.

The agency has appointed Will McKee, former director general of the British Property Federation, to chair the property division, and has brought together its property communications experts to form the unit.

Commenting on the company's new division, Weber Shandwick Director Paul Barnes, said the team hope to provide clients with a co-ordinated approach that is unparalleled. He added: "We know there is a need for a more sophisticated communications offering directed at the property industry. Property companies recognise the importance of communication and Weber Shandwick is poised to meet these needs."

Weber Shandwick has over 40 property clients, including Big W, the BBC, Debenhams and the Tate Modern, London as well as a base in Northern Ireland.
