Following a shooting in east London on Saturday, Police have launched an appeal for information. Police attended the scene at Omnibus Way at approximately 6.30pm. London Ambulance Service also attended and two males, aged 16 and 17, were taken to the Royal London Hospital for treatment for gunshot injuries. Neither male was seriously injured and they have since been released. The victims were with another friend, aged 15, when they were approached by three males who climbed over a wall from a pathway in Lloyds Park and fired shots in their direction. The suspects then made off towards Chingford Road before turning left and heading towards Aveling Park Road. They are described as three black youths, aged 16-19. Officers from Trident investigate.

Police Launch Investigation Over Serious Assault

Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in Osidge Lane in north London on 25 April. The victim, aged 38, had just parked his car in Manor Drive on his way to work as a gardener and was carrying a hammer and garden fork. As he waited to cross Osidge Lane, a white car stopped and the driver flashed its headlights - apparently signalling for him to cross. As he began to cross the road the car accelerated and struck the victim, knocking him to the ground. Three males then allegedly approached the victim as he lay on the ground and began an attack. The victim received injuries to his eye, a broken bone in his leg and serious knee injuries that will require further surgery. The incident happened at around 7.15am. Police have arrested three men on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, however the driver of the car is still being sought.
