Galliano Faces Court Over Racism
Fashion designer John Galliano, 50, is due to appear in court today in France accused of making anti-semitic comments.
In March he was fired from his position as creative director for Dior after a video surfaced of him telling a woman he "loved Hitler" and that her parents might have been gassed in a Nazi camp.
The video, showing him in an intoxicated state at a French Cafe, led to complaints of two incidents of anti-semitic comments being made by the British designer.
Galliano faces a fine of up to 22,000 Euro and a six-month prison sentence if found guilty.
