Philpott Children's Funeral To Be Held Today
The funeral of the six children who died in a fire at their home in Derby is to be held today in the city.
Jade Philpott, 10, and brothers John, nine, Jack, eight, Jessie, six and Jayden, five, died in the blaze in May and Duwayne, 13, died three days later.
The service at St Mary's Catholic Church in Derby is due to start at 11:00 BST and is expected to last for about two hours.
Six horse-drawn hearses will make their way from the Allenton area of Derby, through the city to the church.
A private burial service will be held for the children at a cemetery in Chaddesden on Friday afternoon.
The parents of the six children, Mick and Mairead Philpott, have been charged with their murder and are not due to attend the service.

Two More Arrested In Connection To Fatal Derby House Fire
Two people have been arrested in an ongoing investigation into a Derby house fire which claimed the lives of six children. Police confirmed a 34-year-old and a 29-year-old woman from Derby were arrested in connection to the fire. Adding: "These latest arrests are part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire.

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering six siblings in a fire that ripped through their home as they slept. 45-year-old Paul Barry Mosley appeared at Derby magistrates court on Tuesday charged with the murders of Jade Philpott, 10, and her brothers John, nine, Jack, eight, Jesse, six, Jayden, five, and 13-year-old Duwayne.

Demolition Work Begins On Philpott House
Demolition work has got underway at the former home of Mick and Mairead Philpott, in which six of their children died in a house fire. A bulldozer is on site and the demolition of 18 Victory Road is underway, Derby City Council have said. The adjoining property, number 20, has already been knocked down.

The trial of the three accused of starting a house fire that killed six children, has heard that they rehearsed the act six weeks earlier. Nottingham Crown Court heard from a witness that the alleged plan was for Mr and Mrs Philpott to run into the road and shout for help.
