Suspicious Device Discovered In West Belfast
People have been moved from their homes in west Belfast following the discovery of a suspicious device.
The security alert began when the object was discovered near a street sign.
The entrance to the Glencolin estate has been closed at its junctions with Meadowhill and Glencolin Heights.
Army bomb experts have been called.
Animal Carcasses Shed Over M1
The M1 in Northamptonshire has been closed off after a lorry shed animal carcasses across the road.
The motorway was shut southbound between junction 15A and 16 from 11:20.
The accident has caused a build-up of traffic around the area.
It is thought no other vehicles were involved and no-one was injured.
Man Dies In Car Crash
A motorist has died following a crash on the A97 in Aberdeenshire.
A woman and child were flown to hospital by an air ambulance helicopter after the incident.
The 30-year-old man died in the two-vehicle collision, which occurred on the Huntly to Turriff road, about five miles from Huntly, at 10:40.
The woman and child sustained minor injuries and were flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
Diversions have been put in place following the closure of the road for investigations.
Car Crashes Through 'Subway' Window
A woman has been injured after a car crashed through a Subway sandwich shop in Wales.
The car crashed through the window of the restaurant in Aberdare just before 15:30 on Thursday.
The woman was taken to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be serious.
A police spokesman said three other vehicles were damaged in the incident, thought to have been an accident.

A woman was killed this morning in an accident involving a London bus while a separate investigation has been launched into the death of a GCSE student who has been knocked down by a police patrol car in Newcastle. The first fatal incident occurred last night as the Northumbria Police marked car was believed to be hunting for a stolen vehicle.

Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Aberdeen Crash
Police in Aberdeen have reported the death of a 26-year-old man in a car crash on the A956 Charleston flyover. The man died when a Vauxhall Corsa, that he was a passenger in, collided with a Ford focus at about 18:00 on Tuesday. A woman and four-year-old boy were also injured in the crash. The woman has been described as in a serious condition.

Boxer found guilty over car crash
Former world boxing champion Naseem Hamed has been warned that he could face jail after pleading guilty to a dangerous driving charge. The 31-year-old former featherweight champion from Sheffield was charged following a three-car crash, involving the boxer's £300,000 McLaren-Mercedes, at Ringinglow Road in Sheffield in May last year.
