New Appeal Issued Over 1994 Murder
A fresh appeal for information has been launched in the unsolved murder of Atek Hussain in east London 20 years ago.
The father-of-three was stabbed to death outside his hime in Burnels Avenue, East Ham, in the early hours of 18 September 1994.
While the case has been reviewed a few times since his death, no-one has ever been charged in connection with Mr Hussain's murder.
The Metropolitan Police's Homicide and Major Crime Command have issued a new appeal for information on the murder, urging anyone who can help to contact them.

A reward of £20,000 is being offered for information leading to a conviction for the 1994 murder of Ethsham 'Shami' Ghafoor. Mr Ghafoor was found in his taxi shot dead in the early hours of 22nd November, 2014, in Lambley Lane, Gedling, Nottinghamshire.

A mother-of-three sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of her infant sons has walked free today after the Court of Appeal quashed her conviction. In April 2002, shop assistant Angela Cannings, 40, from Salisbury in Wiltshire, was found guilty of smothering her seven-week-old son Jason in 1991 and her 18-week-old son Matthew in 1999.

Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Plumstead will be carrying out enquiries in the town centre one-week on from his death. The murder investigation was launched after the body of 29-year-old Tadas Jarusevicius was found under a bridge near to Plumstead Railway Station at about 14:00 on Wednesday, 23 September.
