Lancaster Bomber Fly Together For First Time In 50 Years
The last two airworthy Lancaster bombers have flown together for the first time in 50 years.
The World War Two bombers flew together over Lincoln cathedral. They had been due to make the flight on Friday but couldn't due to bad weather.
A series of practice flights near RAF Coningsby will now be performed ahead of a month of events across the UK.
£1m Donation Made To SNP By Stagecoach Boss
£1m has been donated to the Scottish National Party by Stagecoach owner, Sir Brian Souter.
Sir Brian is understood to have pledged to match every donation made during the the year of the independence referendum, pound-for-pound.
"The referendum is Scotland's one opportunity, and it's a fantastic sign of confidence that Brian and others the length and breadth of Scotland are stepping up to the plate to do what they can - so that we have the resources to take on the Westminster establishment and win that vital Yes vote." An SNP spokesperson said.
68-Year-Old Injured In Snowdonia Fall
A 68-year-old has suffered head and leg injuries in a 40ft fall while walking in a steep river gorge in south Snowdonia.
The walker fell at at Dolgoch Falls, a beauty spot near Abergynolwyn, while with his family on Tuesday.
Paramedics treated the man before 13 members of the Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team carried him down a rocky path on a stretcher.

This month's official inflation figures are still more than double the 'target rate' of 2%, although it is expected to drop "sharply", according to the Bank of England. The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) in the UK fell slightly to 5% during October, down from a rate of 5.2% the month before.

Third annual fall recorded in migration to UK
The number of people migrating to the UK has fallen for the third year running, according to statistics released today. New international migration estimates published today by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) found that overall 151,000 more people migrated to the UK than leaving it in 2003.

Snowdonia Walker Fall Death
A 23-year-old man has fallen 300ft (91.4m) to his death from a mountain in Snowdonia. The man and his friend, of the same age, had been walking in low mist when he slipped and fell from a gully cliff face on Glyder Fach. Members of the Ogwen Valley and RAF airlifted the him to hospital at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, where he was confirmed dead.
