Man Wanted Over West Yorkshire And Norfolk Sex Offences
Police have appealed for information on a man wanted in connection with a number of sexual offences in West Yorkshire and Norfolk.
Adam Peter Day, aged 40, from Leeds, has been wanted by West Yorkshire Police and Norfolk Constabulary since August 2013 after he failed to answer bail following his arrest in 2013 in connection with more than 30 offences related to indecent images and sexual assault.
He was last known to be in the Brighton area and has connections with Norfolk, Worcester and Leeds.
He is described as white, about 5' 7'' tall, and of average build. He has short brown hair, a goatee beard, and blue eyes.
Detective Superintendent Pat Twiggs, Head of Crime for Leeds District, said: "West Yorkshire Police and Norfolk Constabulary are continuing to conduct extensive enquiries to trace Adam Day. We believe he is living a transient lifestyle, sleeping in tents and busking for money or working in cash in hand jobs.
"Our previous appeals to trace his whereabouts have brought in some useful information but we are still keen to hear from anyone who can help us to locate him. "
Anyone with any information that could assist in tracing him is asked to contact Detective Constable Mark Howorth at Leeds Child Safeguarding Unit on 0113 385 9474 or via 101 or call the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
