Angelika's murderer sentenced to life
The murderer of 23-year-old Polish student Angelika Kluk has been jailed for life.
Peter Tobin, 60, a convicted sex offender, is believed to have raped, then beaten Ms Kluk before repeatedly stabbing her.
The battered body of the student was discovered by police under the floorboards of St Patrick's Church in Glasgow. Her hands had been secured with cable ties and her mouth had been so tightly gagged that her face was misshapen.
Sentencing Tobin, Judge Lord Menzies said: "What you did to Angelika Kluk was inhuman. You are, in my view, an evil man."
Tobin was sentenced to spend a minimum of 21 years in jail before being considered for parole.
