Two-Year-Old Survives 70ft Fall
A two-year-old toddler is recovering in hospital after falling from the seventh floor of a block of flats.
The incident happened on Saturday evening at Arthur Court in Battersea, south-west London.
It is believed the toddler fell at least 70 feet from a window but scaffolding 30 feet from the ground broke her fall.
She was taken to hospital and it is understood she suffered a broken leg. Her condition has been described as stable.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

British Toddler In 'Serious' Condition After Balcony Fall
A British toddler is in intensive care after falling from a hotel balcony at a popular resort in Spain. One-year-old Daniel Betley, from Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, fell 16ft from the first floor balcony of the Hotel Best on Tuesday. The toddler was on holiday with his mother and grandparents in Cambrils on Costa Dorada.

Inflation At 5% But Expected To Drop 'Sharply'
This month's official inflation figures are still more than double the 'target rate' of 2%, although it is expected to drop "sharply", according to the Bank of England. The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) in the UK fell slightly to 5% during October, down from a rate of 5.2% the month before.

Third annual fall recorded in migration to UK
The number of people migrating to the UK has fallen for the third year running, according to statistics released today. New international migration estimates published today by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) found that overall 151,000 more people migrated to the UK than leaving it in 2003.

UK Toddler Dies In Holiday Balcony Fall
An 18-month boy has died after falling from a hotel balcony in Sardinia, while on holiday with his family. Brad Kremer, from Reading in Berkshire, fell from the first-floor balcony at the Chia Laguna Resort on the Mediterranean island on Saturday. He was rushed to hospital in the island's main town of Cagliari, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
