Murder Inquiry Launched Into Bookies Death
Police in Barking have launched a murder inquiry into the death of a 60-year-old man.
Leslie Bones of Merton Road collapsed on Saturday, 19 April inside Coral bookmakers, Station Parade.
Mr Bones died in the early hours of Sunday morning in hospital after being attended to by emergency services at the scene.
Detectives believe that Mr Bones may have been assaulted by one or more people before he collapsed.
A post mortem revealed the cause of death as a blow to the head.
An inquest was opened and adjourned on Thursday at Walthamstow Coroner's Court.
Two men, aged 20 and 22, were arrested on Sunday 20 April in connection with the murder and were subsequently bailed to return in May.
Another two teenage males, aged 17 and 18, were arrested on Wednesday 23 April on suspicion of murder and remain in custody at an east London police station.
The Homicide and Serious Crime Command at Barking are investigating.

Couple Jailed For Abusing Infant
A couple have been jailed for nine years for abusing and torturing a 17-month-old boy. Stepmother Sumairia Parveen, who had walked out on her husband to be with her cousin, abused stepson Tahla Ikram before his death in September 2006. The father, Abid Ikram, 31, received a further 12 months for perverting the court of justice.

Murder investigation continues into toddler's death
Police are continuing to question one man in connection with the death of a two-year-old girl in Leeds on Sunday. The toddler, named in media reports as Casey Leigh Mullen, was found dead at an address in the Gipton area of the city on Sunday.

Investigation Launched Into Body Found In Suitcase
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in a suitcase in north-west London. Police have said that the body was discovered when officers searched a sports ground in Thornfield Avenue, Mill Hill, at around 5pm on Sunday evening. The death is being treated as murder.
