Man Attacked In North Belfast

A man has been seriously attacked at a bus stop in north Belfast.

The 18-year-old was approached by two men, near Atlantic Avenue, on Sunday at approximately 4am.

He was hit with what is thought to be a bottle, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The first man is described as being around 5ft 11in tall, thin, with short black hair.

The sec on man is described as about 5ft 11in tall, thin, with short fair hair and wearing a black jacket.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man stabbed several times in serious assault
A man has been stabbed several times during a serious assault in Co Down on Tuesday. At around 9.15pm a man answered a knock at the front door of a house in the Grovehill area of Bangor. Two males confronted him and beat him about the head and face with a brick before stabbing him several times in the leg.

Pensioner tricked into letting thieves into house
A north Belfast pensioner was burgled yesterday after thieves tricked their way into her home. The 82-year-old woman was in her Crumlin Road home when a man came to the door at around 2pm. He told the pensioner that he was investigating a water leak and was shown into the kitchen. He was then joined by a second man.

Pair robbed in south Belfast
Police have appealed for information following a street robbery in south Belfast yesterday afternoon. The incident happened at around 3.15pm when two men left an amusement arcade on the Ormeau Road area of the city with a sum of cash.

Appeal Issued After Teenager Sexually Assaulted On Belfast Bus
Police have issued an appeal after a teenage girl was assaulted on a bus in Belfast. The girl was travelling on a bus between Belfast and Dunmurry at around 7.40pm on Friday, 30 August. A PSNI spokesperson said they want to speak to a man described as having short hair, a beard and wearing a dark-coloured tracksuit and light-coloured shoes.
