Staff Threatened In Shop Robbery
A member of staff has been threatened during an armed robbery at a shop in L'Derry.
Detectives in the city are investigating the robbery, which occurred at a premises in the Park Avenue area on the evening of Saturday 14 February.
Detective Inspector David McQuade said: "Police received a report that two males, one armed with a knife, entered the shop at around 21:30 and threatened a female staff member. A small sum of cash was handed over and the males left the shop on foot.
"Both males were reported to have had their faces covered with blue plastic bags and one wore a burgundy coloured coat whilst the other wore a black coloured top. The staff member was unhurt but left badly shaken following the robbery."
Anyone with information is asked to contact CID at Strand Road on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Businesses Damaged By Blaze In Portstewart
An investigation has launched after a number of businesses were damaged by a blaze in The Diamond in Portstewart. The alarm was raised at 5am on Monday, however fire crews were called back at around 9.30am. A chip shop, coffee shop and hairdressers were damaged as a result. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
