Teenager Dies Following Quad Bike Crash Outside Eglinton

The PSNI have launched an investigation following the death of a teenage boy in a quad bike incident outside Eglinton village.

14-year-old Isaac Roxborough passed away in hospital on Wednesday, 26 June, from injuries he sustained when the quad bike he was riding was involved in a collision on the Ballygudden Road.

Inspector Cherith Adair from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Collision Investigation Unit said: "Our thoughts are very much with the family at this incredibly sad time, Isaac was just 14 years old.

"A meticulous investigation to establish the circumstances is underway and we would ask anyone who noticed the red Honda quad on the Ballygudden Road on Tuesday morning, 25th June, shortly before 11.30am or who witnessed the collision to contact us on 101 quoting 675 25/06/24 with any information or dash-cam footage."

A teenager has been taken to hospital with head injuries following a road traffic collision in Co Armagh on Thursday afternoon. The boy was driving a quad bike along Charlestown Road in Portadown when it collided with a small van shortly after 1pm.

Man Killed In Quad Bike Accident
A man has died in a quad bike accident in Co Tyrone. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was killed at the scene in the Plumbridge area just before 5pm on Thursday, 02 November. Rapid response paramedics and an air ambulance attended the scene. Sinn Féin MLA Declan McAleer said the community is in "shock".

Man Dies In Quad Bike Collision In Co Tyrone
A 24-year-old man has died in a serious collision in Co Tyrone. Keith Robinson was killed after his quad bike crashed near Fivemiletown in the early hours of Sunday morning, 10 July. The Aghintain Road has been reopened. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
