200 jobs 'at risk' at Budget DIY stores
Around 200 members of staff at the five Budget DIY stores throughout Northern Ireland could be at risk after the company anounced that it had gone into administration.
PricewaterhouseCoopers have been appointed as administrators, and are expected to make an announcement on the situation later today.
Staff were warned of the possibility of redundancies on Friday afternoon.

200 jobs to be created following DIY chain's investment
A €7 million expansion programme by DIY chain Woodie's is to create 200 new jobs in Cavan, Carlow, Clonmel and Limerick. The expansion plan by the company means that Woodie's will now have 18 stores open across the Republic of Ireland.

Swedish furniture giant IKEA is planning to set up shop in Ireland with stores in both Dublin and Belfast. The two stores will employ around 900 people, 500 in Dublin and 40 in Belfast.
