Body found at Ballymena ‘not suspicious’

Detectives investigating the discovery of a man’s body outside a house in County Antrim have said the death was 'not suspicious'.

The body was found in the front garden of a property at the Queen’s Street area of Ballymena just before 8am this morning.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesperson said they were not treating the death of the man, who was middle-aged and possibly Eastern European, as suspicious, but added there were no further details at present.

The Queen’s Street, Toome Road and Paradise Avenue had all been closed while a forensic team continued its investigations.
