Channel Tunnel Protests Cause Disruption
A protest by ferry workers in Calais has disrupted Channel Tunnel rail services.
Protestors set fire to tyres on the road leading to the port attempting to block the entrance to the French Eurotunnel terminal.
The blockade was ended at approximately 1pm and services have returned to normal.
Man Appears In Court Over Road-Rage Killing
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of another man following an alleged road-rage attack.
Donald Lock, 79, was stabbed on the A24 in Findon in West Sussex on 16 July after a small collision with another vehicle.
Matthew Daley, 34, of St Elmo Road, Worthing, appeared at Hove Crown Court and was remanded in custody on 25 September.
Boy Charged With Vandalism
An eight-year-old boy has been charged with vandalism after ten windows were broken at a school in Aberdeen.
Damage believed to be worth hundreds of pounds was caused at Bramble Brae school in Northfield in the city on 19 July.
Chief Inspector Nick Topping 'urged' parents to make sure they knew what their children were doing during the school holidays.

A man has appeared before a district judge charged with murdering a woman and her baby. Wesley John Williams, 28, was charged with the murders of Yvonne Walsh, 25, and her seven-month-old son Harrison. Williams from Birmingham spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.

Suspected London bomber to be returned to UK
A British man wanted for questioning in connection with the failed London bomb attacks on July 21 is to be extradited to the UK within 35 days, an Italian court has ruled. Osman Hussein (27) will appeal the decision to the Italian Supreme court, according to his lawyers.

Teen Appears In Court Charged With The Murder Of Four Siblings
A 19-year-old has appeared in court charged with the murder of four children who died in a house fire. Dyson Allen is accused of killing siblings Jordon Smith, 2, twins Holly and Ella, 4, and Reece, 19. They all died of smoke inhalation at a bungalow in Freckleton, Lancashire, in January. Their mother was saved by firefighters.

A man charged with murdering a teenager in a south-east London bakery is due to appear in court today. Jimmy Mizen, who had just turned 16, was slashed across the throat with a shard of glass in the Three Cooks store on Burnt Ash Hill in Lee, on Saturday.

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a four-month-old baby girl. Craig Jamieson, 28, from Scotscoun, appeared before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, where he was remanded in custody. Mr Jamieson was arrested on Friday, shortly after the baby died in Glasgow's Yorkhill Hospital, after being taken from her home in Partick.
