Heavy Snow Warning Issued For NI
Northern Ireland remains in the midst of winter despite the slight stretch in the evenings, and it appears next week is no different with a forecast of heavy snow and strong winds.
A yellow weather warning for wind and snow will be in place on Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 February.
This comes off the back of Storm Ciara over the weekend, with heavy gusts of up to 80mph forecast between Saturday evening and midnight on Sunday.
Some short term loss of power is predicted as the wind and snow sweeps NI, with a chance of travel delays and cancelled rail and air travel.
The Met Office also warned of the possibility of stranded vehicles and passengers and flooding on coastal routes.

Motorists Warned To Take Care Following Heavy Snow Fall In NI
Motorists are being warned to take care on the roads following heavy snow fall in some areas of Northern Ireland. Temperatures plummeted to -1 degrees overnight leaving ice on the roads. A PSNI spokesperson said: "We don't need much snow and ice for our wee country to grind to a halt! "Leave extra time for your journey.

Heavy snow showers affect whole of NI
Heavy snow showers have affected many parts of Northern Ireland overnight and there is a Met Office severe weather warning in force. Snow depths ranged from one inch to six inches with many schools closing for the day because of the dangerous conditions.

Traffic Warning For South Belfast Ahead Of Northern Ireland Match
Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.

Gale Force Winds And Snow Expected In NI
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for gale force winds and snow across Northern Ireland. The warning has been put in place from Wednesday, 11 January, until 12pm on Thursday, 12 January. Gale force winds of up to 70mph are expected in some places with increasing wintry showers.
